Our story

Trembola was founded in 2024 by a small group of friends in Nghe An who shared one frustration: it is genuinely difficult to find dressy heels and sandals that look refined and still feel kind to your feet by midnight. Most occasion shoes are designed for the photograph, not for the seven hours of walking, standing and dancing that follow. We saw a clear gap — between fast-fashion heels that fall apart after two wears, and luxury houses whose prices made no sense for a wedding-season pair. We started Trembola to sit cleanly in the middle: thoughtful silhouettes you would actually choose for a special evening, made on lasts that respect the real shape of a woman’s foot, priced like a smart everyday purchase.

How we make our shoes

Every Trembola pair begins as a hand-drawn sketch on the wall of our workshop. From there it goes onto a wooden last that has been refined over six iterations to give the toe-box room our customers kept asking for. We use full-grain leather uppers and split-grain leather linings for breathability, a 4-layer cushioned insole with a memory-foam top sheet, and a stacked heel block reinforced with a steel shank so the arch never collapses mid-evening. Each prototype is worn on a real foot for a full 12-hour day before it earns a place in the collection — if anyone in the workshop limps home, the sample goes back to the bench.

Trembola is run out of a single workshop in Ky Son district by an 8-person team — a pattern-maker, two cobblers, a leather buyer, a quality lead, and a small customer-care desk that answers the phone in Vietnamese, English and French.
